His paintings are stark and clutch at your throat, and they depict emotions that are laid completely bare. Few colours, uncomplicated but incredibly powerful shapes and an overall impact that can stagger you. From his 'Kali' that was the first Indian painting to break the Rs. 1 crore barrier to 'Mahisasura', his paintings have a primal power that cannot be matched by any other painter.
Just 'image search' Tyeb Mehta on Google, and you will understand what I mean, by the unimaginably powerful yet simple yet complex work that he created. India has lost one her greatest painters.

Brad Pitt is the biggest 'Basterd' of them all. If the trailer is any indication, Quentin Tarantino's next movie 'Inglourious Basterds' is going to be one hell of a roller coaster ride. I am expecting serious Nazi annihilation in the movie. Though with Quentin Tarantino you don't really know what to expect.
In the trailer we see Brad Pitt as a really tough, rough, blunt weapon created to annihilate anything Nazi. This is going to be a great movie to watch. We are waiting for you, you Inglourious Basterds.

How can single strokes define him, he needed many lines repeated and enlarged to show his aura. He is a magnification of normal people, he is bigger than life, in fact for most Indians he is the biggest. The Big B. The picture in my head of Amitabh Bachchan is of the bell bottomed collar up tall angry young man who won the hearts of every Indian. That's who he is in this drawing. The amazing part is that even at 60+, he continues to win the hearts of every Indian.

When I see Mr Recession in my mind he is always smirking, laughing behind our backs. His lips curl up into a mocking smile. It makes me very mad, and I feel like pushing and shoving him out. He also seems to be suited booted but only to mock us all. Will I be glad when we kick him out for good!

I haven't seen the movie but the image it conjured up in my mind was a grand drama with the stage occupied by God almighty and his angels and his adversaries. Based on the book Angels and Demons by Dan Brown, it promises to be a movie of epic proportions.
