There was a man who loved to drink from a stream that flowed through the middle of his head. He drank and drank, but suddenly one day the stream ran dry. That's when he discovered an ocean flowing all through him and all around him... an infinite ocean of infinite bliss...

About the artist
Born in Guwahati Assam, Sanjeev has been painting ever since he can remember. His love for painting and drawing regularly won him awards in art competitions during his school and college years in Delhi. With diverse themes, his work tends to revolve around natural and human elements and spirituality. His overall creative nature led him towards the advertising industry, where he has won numerous international and national creative awards while exploring the boundaries of creative expression.

Presently Sanjeev works with oil and acrylic colours on canvas. He works in a semi-abstract style. His present body of work has deep hues and vibrates with myriad colours, layers and meanings.

Sanjeev works under the tutelage of senior artists Shobha Broota and Jiten Hazarika. Sanjeev does all his painting and art related work from his studio in Noida, a suburb of Delhi.
